It is One Year Lease's mission to:

 

Premiere bold international works of theater in New York City.

 

Contribute to the advancement of international collaboration in the theater 
by commissioning new plays from playwrights based in the US and abroad.

 

Provide training and education to young artists through student workshops in the USA
and our annual Apprentice Program in Greece.

 

Advocate physically powerful, ensemble-based theater.

 

Advocate the importance of theater as a forum of community enrichment
that connects us to each other and our past.
